Outdoor P.O.S. Development.

Boots stores have large windows with roll down promotional posters in them. Gillette will promote the Gillette Pro- Safety case and current product range through these. Drawing consumers into the store and letting them know that the product is stocked exclusively there.

I drew out a Boots store in the same was as I did with the Gillette consumer profile boards- using Illustrator and a range of gradients/fills to give the store a 3D effect.

Inspirational image.

Individually drawn window and door frames.

Store front with individually drawn bricks.
Gradients are used to give a 3D effect.

Gradients are added to the windows to give the effect of glass, logos are also added.

Bricks with and without gradient. Adds depth to the image.

Street- adds depth.

Final store front illustration.

I then went on to develop the window displays: themed to both Boots and Gillette.

P.O.S. One.

P.O.S. Two

P.O.S. Three.

I arranged the products and text on the posters until I found the right combination that would be the most effective.

This is the final result-

The hanging window P.O.S will run for three weeks prior to and one week post Valentine’s Day; a total of five weeks.
