Clear Channel a UK outdoor advertising company claims that the average adshel campaign can reach 74% of the UK's population in two weeks. Adshels are cost effective and highly beneficial- reaching Gillette's target consumer; old and new.
As with the billboards, the adshels will be located within the UK's main cities- targeting the desired consumer with disposable income and an interest in technology.
The adshels will be constructed in 2 key locations:
- Close to the Boots stores.
- In public transport stations.
As with the Billboard these will run for a total of 5 weeks- 4 weeks prior to Valentines and one week after.
Street Adshel:
The street adshel will have several key features:
- Gillette Logo.
- Pro- Safety Logo.
- Celebrity Couple.
- Product.
- Gillette Fusion Range.
- QR Code.
- Description.
- Slogan.
- Website Address.
- Themed Background.
Due to the adshel being portrait, it will feature a longer shot of the celebrities.
Development of the Street Adshel:
I begun by placing key items- products, logos and celebrities.
Then transformed and developed them to find the best location for each of the items.
I then added the text developed from the billboard
Developing it to find the best location.
I then added the description in the top left hand corner.
I decided this would be better in a thinner, italic font- aligned to the left.
I also added the improved background to this.
Final Street Adshel:
Transport Adshel:
72% of consumers play games whilst commuting- it would be beneficial for Gillette to have a transport adshel that focuses on the iOS7 game targeting consumers as they make their way to work and are most likely 'bored'. The commuters will be more likely to download the game so they have something to play on whilst they are waiting for tubes/trains/buses on the way to work or when shopping.
The transport adshel will be similar to that of the street adshel but will feature the iOS7 Game instead of the product and will encourage the user to download the game from the Apple app store.
I have just developed from the previous adshel and replaced parts with the game and description.
Arranging the two new items to find the best layout.
Final Transport Adshel:
